Vehicle branding cost in Dubai: wraps, partials and decals

6 min read · Updated July 2026

A branded fleet is one of the cheapest media buys in Dubai per impression — but only if the wrap survives the summer and the design reads at 80 km/h. Here is what the work costs, what changes the number, and where cutting cost is safe.

Cost by branding type

  • Cut vinyl decals and door branding: from a few hundred dirhams per vehicle. Best for logo, phone number and licence details.
  • Partial wrap (doors, rear, lower panels): roughly AED 1,500–3,500 per vehicle.
  • Full wrap: commonly AED 3,500–8,000+, rising for vans, buses and trucks.
  • Specialty finishes — chrome, matte, colour-shift, reflective: expect a significant premium on film alone.

What moves the price

  • Vehicle size and panel complexity. Deep curves, bumpers and recesses take hours, not material.
  • Film grade. Cast film costs more than calendared film and is the difference between a wrap that lasts four years in UAE sun and one that cracks in eighteen months.
  • Coverage. Every additional panel adds both material and labour.
  • Design. A flat colour block is quick; edge-to-edge photography that must align across doors is not.
  • Fleet volume. Per-vehicle cost drops meaningfully past five units because the design and print setup is amortised.

Designing for a moving surface

Most wasted spend is design, not film. A vehicle is read for two or three seconds, usually in motion, often in glare.

Keep it to one message, one number and a mark large enough to read from a lane away. Leave breathing space around the logo. Avoid placing critical information over door seams, handles and wheel arches, and never run small text near a curve.

Surviving the summer

  • Specify UV-stable cast film with a laminate — the laminate is what resists fading, not the print.
  • Park in shade where possible; roof and bonnet panels degrade first.
  • Hand wash rather than using high-pressure jets on edges.
  • Plan a panel-level refresh rather than a full re-wrap when only horizontal surfaces have aged.

Budgeting for a fleet

Cost the design once, then the application per vehicle. For mixed fleets, we build one artwork system that scales across sedan, van and truck rather than redrawing per model — that alone usually saves more than negotiating on film.

Also budget for removal at the end of a lease. Professional removal is inexpensive and protects the resale value you would otherwise argue about.

Frequently asked questions

How much does vehicle branding cost in Dubai?

As a working range: decals and door branding from a few hundred dirhams per vehicle, partial wraps roughly AED 1,500–3,500, and full wraps commonly AED 3,500–8,000+ depending on vehicle size, film grade and design complexity.

How long does a vehicle wrap last in the UAE?

With premium cast film and proper care, three to five years. Roof and bonnet panels take the most UV damage and often fade first, which is why film grade matters more here than in cooler climates.

Is a full wrap worth it versus partial branding?

For a delivery or service fleet seen at close range, a well-designed partial wrap often delivers most of the impact at half the cost. Full wraps pay off when the vehicle is the primary advertising channel or the base colour clashes with the brand.

Will a wrap damage the paint?

No, when quality film is applied to original paint in good condition and removed professionally. Wraps generally protect the paint underneath. Resprayed or damaged panels are the exception worth flagging before installation.

How long does installation take?

A full wrap on a standard vehicle takes one to two days including curing. Fleets are usually staged in batches so you are never without working vehicles.
